This tower no longer exists. There is only a bit of concrete left on the site and the above shelter.
In notes supplied by David Bannear and dated 1st August 1966 it is recorded:
Mt. Fatigue was listed as desirable work in the 1966/67 budget but was able to be built because the building of a new tower to replace Dickies Hill was delayed.
Mt. Fatigue was not manned continuously after 1972 and has not been manned at all since 1974.
The tower had good views of Corner Inlet, Welshpool and Wilsons Promontory.
