This was a HVP (Hancock) tower

In a September 1981 FCV letter, it reads: "APM Forests is proposing to move the Longford to Holey Hill, which would provide a coverage of the Holey Plains State Park and the Stradbroke and Willung area".
Since the move, the tower has been known as Holey Hill as well as Longford.

Photo taken and supplied by Peter McHugh in Sept 2020.
The cabin photo is zoomed in from the first photo, showing the
burnt timber on the cat-walk from the 2019 fires.

We learned in April 2024 that the Holey Hill - Longford tower has been completely removed, foundations and all. The tower was impacted in the 2019 fires and hasn't been manned since those fires.

David also posted some drone photos on a closed FB group of the same visit in 2022

These 2 photos were in the same FB post, taken from an aircraft. Source is unknown.
