The following information was found in correspondence supplied by David Bannear.
Alberton West was demolished in the late 1950's and replaced by Mt. Fatigue.
There was also an accommodation hut on site. The hut was approx. 3.6m x 2.4m. This was a 'Stanley' type hut with masonite walls and corrugated iron roof.
