Still standing in 1997

In June 2022, we received the following message from a person who wishes to remain anonymous: Hey there, I've been living in the area for a few years and came across your website maybe a year ago. I was intrigued to hear about the Watalgan fire lookout, I have looked for it a few times, today I came across it. Sadly to report, looks like in the past 10 or so years someone has decided to vandalise the site by cutting down the supports for the building, which is quite upsetting.

The cabin location is about 55km NW of Bundaburg and it appears to be in the Littabella NP and not in the Watalgan State Forest.
