The original tower was in 4 sections, cabin inside poles to window sill, trap door access and internal diagonal stairs with landings and rails.
It was extended to 24.5m in 1967 (see thumbnail photo) and ia also known as High Tower No. 2. The new section had parallel stairs for new extension with cabin on external deck and access.
It was a very unusual construction; a combination of 1940s and 1960s design, piggy backed on original 1934 East Nanango tower.
The tower has been demolished, it looked over Plantation timber.
