This tower was in Native forest.
The tower was relocated in 1963 (see Barakula No. 2). The original external ladder was replaced in 1960 with an internal ladder with rails.
The cabin was built inside the poles to the window sill and had access through a trap door.
An overseer's house was located adjacent to the tower (see thumbnail photo).
