This tower, in Sunny Corner State Forest, was upgraded in 2004. The refurbishment involved replacing the old cabin, removing and galvanising all the ladders
and landings and reconstructing the upper platform.
The tower was orginally located at the Sydney airbase during World War II, before Forest NSW moved it to Sunny Corner in 1963
Sunny Corner is part of a network of towers in the Central Tablelands. Miss Anne Coleman has manned the tower for the last 9 years (2004)
