This tower, in the Girard State Forest, is no longer used.

The main photo and the 2 photos above were taken and supplied in mid 2023 by Matt Rixon, a regular contributor. Matt also provided the following information: I was driving out towards Girard State Forest and drove in to get some photos for the Firetower up there. It's an easy drive to the tower on well graded tracks and a 2WD vehicle would make it in dry weather. The fire tower is in worse condition on this visit. In 2019 when I was here last the glass windows and bottom part of the ladder were present, however the ladder has been removed and the glass windows of the tower have been smashed. Plenty of broken glass on the ground below. It's a shame that the tower looks to be left in a state to disrepair.
